Kim Kardashian arrived at a "Millions of Milkshakes" opening in Bahrain over the weekend to massive hordes of screaming fans, according to the promotional video set to thumping techno music that she tweeted on Sunday.

Kardashian visited Bahrain and Kuwait to promote new branches of Millions of Milkshakes, which she was hired to do by the chain's owners Sheeraz Hasan and Paresh Shah.

According to the press release attached to the video:

When asked about how she felt about Kim opening the new Millions of Milkshakes store, one young woman answered "I am so excited to see Kim; I am her biggest fan. I can't believe she is here in Bahrain! Thank you Millions of Milkshakes for bringing her to us! I can't wait to try her signature milkshake!"

After officially opening the store and making her signature milkshake, Kim greeted her fans in Arabic, "Marhaba Bahrain!" She continued "I'm so excited to be here. It's my first time in Bahrain and I've heard so much about its hospitality and just how warm all the people were but I never thought it would be like this... I'm in love with Bahrain."

Kim also commented that she had already phoned her family and her sisters about how much she loved Bahrain, "I want to bring them back on vacation with me in 2013," to which the frenzied crowds erupted in applause and screams that lasted several minutes.

Meanwhile, police tear-gassed around 50 Islamic protesters who took issue with Kardashian's visit, one of whom held a sign that said "none of our customs and traditions allow us to receive stars of porn movies."
