One Woman's Message In Solidarity With Survivors Of Sexual Assault

Phoebe Tansley is the founder of Uganda-based NGO Attacked Not Defeated (AND). For the past two years she has been working tirelessly to establish an organisation which will fight for the rights of sexual assault survivors, as well as support them and work with communities in an attempt to detach stigma and educate on gender equality. At the recent Ending Sexual Violence In Conflict Global Summit led by Angelina Jolie and William Hague, she recorded this brave message and broke the silence on her own experiences in order to mobilise Global Leaders to make a change.
