<p>Then, I cross-checked every deal with <a href="http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/2013/08/best-time-to-buy-things/index.htm" target="_blank">this Consumer Reports guide</a> on when to buy the lowest priced products and this highly detailed <a href="http://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2015/10/retailers-rejoice-online-sales-to-hit-new-record-this-holiday-season.html" target="_blank">Adobe Digital Index</a> report that looked at 55 million products from 4,500 retailers from 2008 to present.</p>

If it \*is\* worth it, you'll see a list of where to find the best deals, too.

TVs are the bread and butter of Black Friday. You'll see the biggest deals on high-end HD and 4K TVs, like Samsung's 55-inch 4K display on Amazon for $997 (originally $1,500). At Target, you can get it for $798. /// Best Buy is selling Vizio's 55-inch 4K TV for $699 (originally $880) and the 65-inch for $1000 (originally $1500). /// If you don't need 4K, Best Buy is selling a 49-inch Toshiba 1080p display for $149 (originally $430). /// Tip: Don't skimp on a no-name brand! Stick with models from Samsung, Sharp, LG, Sony, and Vizio.

Verizon is offering $100 off all Android phones $400 and up, including the S6 Edge+ and Note 5. /// Best Buy will hand you a $250 gift card with any S6 or S6 Edge purchase. Trade in your iPhone 5 for the 6S and get a $200 gift card. /// At Target, you'll get a $250 Target gift card for a 6s or 6s Plus. /// There is also a pretty good deal at Walmart, depending on how you look at it. /// For any Samsung smartphone and iPhone 5S and newer, you put down $0 up front and receive $100 bill credit, plus $100 Black Friday Walmart gift card valid until Nov. 27. The iPad Mini 4 is discounted at $299, regularly $399. /// At Target, the iPad Air 2 comes with a $150 gift card (but is full price), while the iPad Mini 4 comes with $100 gift card. /// Android tablets are also heavily discounted on Black Friday. At Target the 9.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is $100 off ($500 vs. 400). At Staples, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is down to $80 (from $140).

YES. Now is that best time to get previous iPad generations and Android tablets.

The Kindle Voyage is the best Kindle there is (it has a high-res display, page turners on both side, and a light that auto-adjusts) – and it's not on sale for Black Friday. /// Luckily there are deals for previous Kindle versions, which are just as good. The backlit Kindle Paperwhite is $100, down from $119 and the non-backlit Kindle is $50, down from $80.

Go for the top-notch, well-reviewed brand name stuff. Look up reviews on Amazon or the Sweethome and do your homework! /// On Amazon, you can save up to $200 on select Dyson vacuums and 40% off cookware from Circulon. /// At Sears, a Kenmore washer and dryer pair are more than 50% off at %800. A Kenmore French door fridge is 52% off at $950 (down from $2000). KitchenAid stand mixers are $100 off. /// At Best Buy, Samsung's 4-door smart fridge is $1500 off ($2100, from $3,600). /// Check Home Depot, Lowe's, Macy's, JC Penney's, and Kohl's for more appliance deals.

Expedia is prepping for an alleged "huge Black Friday sale" with up to 75% off select hotels on the Expedia app.  
Seven Stars in Turks and Caicos is offering 50% off for travel between April and August 2016. On The Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas is 50% off between Dec. 1 2015 through Nov. 22, 2016.   
For those who ski, Spring Creek Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyo is offering deals for January 2016 and the Lodge at Vail is discounting suites up to 50% off.   
Check cruise lines, Rail Europe, and Starwood Hotels closer to Black Friday for more deals.

Yes!! Expensive games get big discounts and you can score on console bundles, too.

At Target, the GoPro Hero+ LCD comes with a 64GB microSD card and a $60 gift card. /// At Walmart, the Canon Rebel T5 DSLR bundle with a bag and 75-300mm lens is $200 off (originally $599). The good stuff that'll last you a long time won't be on sale and REI isn't even open anyway. You'll find the biggest sales in the spring.

Despite what you may think looking at the Toys R Us Black Friday ad, the best time to buy toys are the Saturday before Thanksgiving and Cyber Monday, plus you'll see another dip in prices right before Christmas.

Department stores trying to shed last season's linens will put expensive duvet covers and shams on sale in January. It's known as a "white sale." Wait until then!
