Here's a weird factoid. Niagara falls has more Indian food restaurants than McDonalds, Burger Kings and Starbuckses combined. Seriously there are at least 2 Indian food restaurants on every corner. In the summer it smells AMAZING (unless you're my racist aunt who moved from her apartment because she couldn't stand “those people and their awful cooking smells”).

The geology is a hard limestone layer on top of softer shale. So the water wears away the shale underneath until the limestone on top isn't supported and it breaks of. SPLASH! It will still be there in 50,000 years. It will just be one big waterfall, though. Unless, of course, the glaciers melt and the whole region is turned into one big sea.

After eloping, my parents drove up to Niagara Falls. I'm pretty sure I was conceived there.
