With the 21st anniversary of the MTV Movie Awards fast approaching, we thought it’d be fun to take a look back. Enjoy these memories and get ready for some even bigger splashes at this year’s awards, tonight at 9/8c, only on MTV.

1. The First MTV Movie Awards were in 1992.

Jurassic Park was the highest grossing movie that year with $914,691,118.
