Diner owner Darla Neugebauer is being both cheered and jeered online for reprimanding a crying child in her restaurant.

If you haven't been on social media in the last few hours, here's the skinny: Darla Neugebauer, Maine diner owner, screamed at (and went on a subsequent viral Facebook rant about) a child who had been crying nonstop inside the restaurant she runs.

Tara Carson, the mother of the crying child, took to Marcy's Diner's Facebook page to share her displeasure, and Neugebauer responded in kind.

Neugebauer maintains that the Carsons ordered too many pancakes and should have taken their inconsolable child outside after 30 minutes of consecutive screaming.
