nuevamestiza a year agoSo the ultimate woman is White? It’s interesting that they position ‘White’ as the default for this figure, though no side picture is shown drawing in the skin color as the desired feature. Additionally, any of those features could be (and are) on a Black, Latina, or Asian body. Though, as we know, when that’s the case it’s cast ‘nothing special’ (think of full lips on a Black woman, like Alfre Woodard, versus on a White woman, such as Angelina Jolie). Dooby Keebler a year agoFor those complaining about the whiteness of this: 1. It’s not some scientific inquiry to find the ideal beauty, it’s some photoshop fun based on the results of a random poll. 2. Cheryl Cole, Kelly Brook, and Kate Middleton being on this should make it clear that this is a poll conducted in the UK, where I think over 90% of the people are white. There are some British celebrities of color, and people in the UK will know some non-white famous women from other countries, but the odds that any of them would top any poll in 8 categories is slim. Because in Europe, you mostly find people of European descent. So, you know, cool it with the outrage.
