two things guaranteed to make me outraged and cry: animal abuse videos/stories and the injustices gays and lesbians still face today.

My name is Kendal, and I'm bisexual. I've been with my (heterosexual) husband for nearly 9 years now, at age 23. I love Governor Gregoire and President Obama for their contributions to the movement. I love the phrase “our mission is to reach out and teach people to love, and not to hate.” I wish more people would think like that. I pray that in my lifetime, all 50 states will allow gays to marry. I pray the bigots, especially here in Arkansas, will leave the judging to God.

I think the people who are against gay rights are on the wrong side of history and they will know it sooner or later. It may take decades but one day they will look back and realize how stupid they were to treat gay people differently than straight people.

Good, but should be titled “gay rights in the US”. No mention of any of the countries around the world that accept gay people and let us marry? Canada, Iceland, Belgium, Argentina, Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Africa and Spain
