In response to the earlier comment which suggested Angie spray tan and then compared her to a vampire: Her leg does have color. However, when a caucasian person is under a giant spotlight (whether on stage, or in the presence of numerous camera flashes) they will appear to be washed out.  Your comment is ignorant and is equivalent to saying “That person is so black, a little skin bleach will go a long way.” Just leave the issue of skin color alone. Natural is beautiful, no matter how pale or dark. No one should feel pressured to tan or lighten.

The picture that allows you to see the left leg's position shows that there's not as much of a pose to it than seems at first. The dress is clearly constructed to throw more tilt into the dress as it falls at an angle from the hip. Unnecessary? Sure. Worth ridiculing relentlessly? Not a chance.
