      Steven Rachal, please tell me you did not just say that autistic people and Down’s Syndrome people are not human. As a supporter of Special Olympics, I can assure you that they are VERY human. You can sit in your ivory tower and look down on people but what if, someday, you have Alzheimer’s or some other mind robbing affliction, do we get to look down on you? We won’t, that’s the bottom line. As for your convictions about gays and its being wrong and all that, you are certainly entitled to your opinions. The way I look at it is this: since you think it is wrong, don’t be gay. But you can’t impose your ideas on me any more than I get to tell you that, because I hate certain foods, it is a sin and a disgrace for you to enjoy them. See? Just live and let live. Stop being so bitter. Have compassion, love and RESPECT for those not like you.
