Paula R. a year agoI really don’t see the problem with this. People make mistakes. If they’re adult about it and admit that they’re wrong (and work towards keeping it from happening again), I don’t see the issue as long as it’s not their job to be a trustworthy news source. Yes, he put his foot in his mouth in a trashy way. Yes, he should be more careful, especially considering how his whole career involves being visible to the public. But he’s not running for office or working as a reporter. He’s a celebrity with a lot of shit going on in his personal life that said something on impulse that he immediately regretted- something we have *all* done at one point (and something not at all surprising considering his less-than-perfect track record of impulse control).
