#10 is a classic. WTF?!

The lady on the cover of #42 ‘More Christmas Disco’ doesn’t entirely look too confident about being on the album. It’s like she realized only as the flash bulb was going off that it was going to look pretty bad. The guy on the cover of #48 ‘Tijuana Christmas’ looks as though his pre-existing thyroid condition is being aggravated by his trumpet playing.

I only disagree b/c there are about 3 or 4 albums that were ok.

I understand most of these choices, but “A Very Ally Christmas” is a favorite of mine if ONLY for Robert Downey Jr’s extraordinary version of “River.” And a couple of choices appear to be here only because someone doesn’t like easy listening/vocalists. Bette Midler? Come on!

alright mariah carey’s album is considered a classic (10), cool yule (42) is great, and I WISH I HAD NUMBER 42.

This should be called Worst Christmas Album Covers of all time. I highly doubt someone actually took the time to listen to all of these albums…or any other Christmas albums.

I don’t know about “album” but the best/worst Christmas song ever is John Denver’s “Please Daddy Don’t Get Drunk this Christmas” on his “Rocky Mountain Christmas” album.

A few of these ain’t half bad. Twisted Sister’s rendition of “O Come All Ye Faithful” is pretty rad; the rest of that album is meh.
Asleep At The Wheel’s western swing style is a remarkably good genre fit for Christmas music.
Harry Connick is pretty decent, and difficult for me to hate on.
I hate Mariah Carey more than anyone here, but even I can’t deny some of the tracks on her Christmas album.
Mojo Nixon is the opposite: I dig a lot of his stuff, but his Christmas album is kind of a jokey toss-off. The rest of these — especially Kenny Chesney and Donny Osmond — pretty much suck ass all year ‘round.

I haven’t actually listened to it before, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Jim Nabors album was actually quite good. Even if he was Gomer, dude has a stellar singing voice (No joke.)
