I have to admit… in the rain the other day I saw a hipster on the sidewalk as I drove by. And yes, yes I turned into the puddle…
this is how fashion works, labeling it “hipster” in the middle really offsets it. these so called “hipsters” or “artists” or “musicians” tend to be the ones pushing fashion through these cycles, which society then emulates. it's not really that crazy.

this is definitely a mostly true pattern of how fashions come about, but i don't understand why the title is centered on the “hipster” element. hipsters would only account for about 2/7 of the people involved in this.
@Abby Lane Because Buzzfeed is bored with conservative blog etiquette and has done away with hat tipping and the majority of people find it in bad taste
Why does BuzzFeed no longer give the hat tip back to where the post was originally found? Seems like bad blog etiquette.
