As This Boy Grows Up, He And His Dog Are Inseparable, And It’s Adorable

Redditor bleed-black has photographed the first 2.5 years of her son and dog’s amazing friendship. Warning: The cuteness is a lot to handle.

1. This little boy seems more preoccupied with his binkie than anything else, but there’s one thing that’s certain: he’s got one canine fan that’s completely devoted.

2. Here he is taking a nap with his best friend. The boy’s still small, but his dog doesn’t seem to mind.

3. And here he is napping again, but she doesn’t seem to mind the quiet time.

4. As time goes on, the two buddies only grow closer.

5. The boy starts sitting up and learning more about the world around him. One thing that doesn’t change? His dog’s by his side.

6. He tells her stories and she always listens.

7. He gives her kisses and she’s patient with his little hands.

8. He hangs out and watches cartoons and she’s always down for a relaxing morning too.

9. He whispers to her things that he doesn’t want his parents to know, and she’s always good at keeping quiet.

10. She reluctantly shares her toys.

11. Key word: reluctantly.

12. But as he grows, she stays patient. Even when he decides to take a ride on her when she’s just trying to relax.

13. Or when he decides it’s hug time even though she’d really prefer it were stay-quiet-and-wait-for-food time.

14. In return, he’s always willing to share his comfy blankies.

15. And, of course, he shares some kisses.

16. Because at the end of the day, these two stick together.

17. Even when he wakes her up from her nap.

18. And he refuses to share his lunch with her.

19. Because at the end of the day, they’ve got each other’s backs.

20. After all, no one snuggles better or listens more intently. They’re best friends ‘til the end.
