To reiterate, all of this attention is unnecessary. A successful black woman that has never did anything remotely immoral is being reported as if she has done something so distasteful, disgusting, immoral etc. If you’re not in the entertainment industry, you need to calm down, because the level of judgement thats being lashed out is about a 10, you’re level 0 and you won’t be a level 10. Leave it to the experts that confirmed it was a pre-recorded track. But again, most of you have no idea what that means. TL;DR? Stop hating. She’ll forever be successful so your hate wont kill the success. Worry about some real news.

Mools 4 months agoI really don’t care if she lip-synced or not. It seems to be the trend these days. However, I do think that if you are a signer, and make your living as a singer, and people are paying you to sing but you lip-sync…that is borderline fraud. That applies to all singers. You have one job and if you are taking money but don’t do what you are paid to do, then you are ripping people off.

Why are people continually surprised by this (pre-recordings of the national anthem)? In all seriousness, why would you NOT want to make sure that the national anthem is going to come out flawless for something as big as the presidential inauguration or the Superbowl?!? It doesn’t negate from the fact that they still sang it, pre-recorded or not.
