You met in the summer of '87.
At first you weren't interested.
But then you gave in to your needs.
Your friends were saying, "YOU CAN'T, HE'S A DOG."
And your parents were saying, "SHE'S A CAT FOR GOD'S SAKE, A CAT!"
You tried to break it off peacefully.
But the love was irresistible.
So that summer you decided to heck with it. WE ARE GOING TO BE TOGETHER.
And then you were inseparable.
You took nice long walks around the kitchen.
And made out in the garden behind the house.
There was a lot of making out.

But then there was a fight.
Feelings were hurt, and dog left town for a bit.
He went on a journey to "find himself."
BUT THEN HE CAME BACK! And you couldn't keep your paws off him.
And you lived happily ever after.
