Gabby Douglas Wins Gold In Gymnastics All-Around

She becomes the first black woman to take gold in the all-around competition as well as the first American woman to win gold in both the team and individual all-around competitions.

With Douglas’ win, she becomes the first black woman to take gold in the all-around competition as well as the first American woman to win gold in both the team and individual all-around competitions. Raisman finished fourth because even though her overall score was tied with Mustafina’s, her execution score was lower.
