Orlando Cruz, a Puerto Rican featherweight, could also have a shot at a title soon.

Add boxing to the growing list of sports with openly gay stars. Orlando Cruz, a former Olympian and current #4 WBO featherweight, just revealed that he's gay, saying, "I've been fighting for more than 24 years and as I continue my ascendant career, I want to be true to myself."
