Carmelo Anthony Is Helping Out With Sandy Relief In Red Hook

The Knicks' oft-criticized star should get nothing but praise for this.

Things are looking great for the Knicks right now. They're the NBA's last undefeated team, and divisive star Carmelo Anthony can be found in Red Hook, helping with Sandy relief.

The Knicks didn't have a game last night or tonight, so this is the perfect time for Carmelo to get out and do some good in his city. (For perspective, the Knicks opened their season last Friday and then played Sunday and in Philadelphia on Monday, so Melo hasn't had a ton of free time lately.)

Also, it looks like Melo's having a much more positive storm-related experience than his injured teammate, Amar'e Stoudamire.
