J.K. Rowling Says We All Got Our Hogwarts Letters, After All

The queen of Twitter is at it again.

Every Harry Potter fan knows how important and momentous it was for Harry to receive his Hogwarts letter.

And even though it's a fictitious world, we were all pretty bummed we never got letters of our own inviting us to attend the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

In fact, us mere Muggles complain about this depressing fact on a regular basis and direct our concerns to J.K. Rowling herself.

@jk_rowling where is my hogwarts acceptance letter? The owl must've lost it on its way to deliver it.😊

*still patiently waiting for a hogwarts letter even though i should've graduated from hogwarts 2 years ago* @jk_rowling

Recently, one fan did just that...

@jk_rowling DEAR J.K ROWLING, HOW CAN I GO TO HOGWARTS WITHOUT A LETTER????

...attracting the attention of someone who tried to explain that "Muggles don't get to go to Hogwarts."

@tn0tmills @jk_rowling Silly muggle, muggles don't get to go to Hogwarts

@tn0tmills @jk_rowling You didn't get a letter, so either a muggle or a squib ;) Are you a squib?

But in a classic Queen Rowling move, the author responded and said that we're not just Muggles who didn't get our Hogwarts letters, after all.

.@m_abs All these people saying they never got their Hogwarts letter: you got the letter. You went to Hogwarts. We were all there together.

"You got the letter. You went to Hogwarts."

"We were all there together."

According to Rowling's logic, Harry Potter fans who read the books and watched the movies all went to Hogwarts and experienced Harry's adventures right alongside him.

SAME, HARRY. SAME.
