Over the holiday weekend, American sweetheart and all-around DGAF icon Shia LaBeouf was out and about at the 72nd Venice International Film Festival. LaBeouf was there to promote his new film Man Down.
Wait a minute... Something is...different.
Noticeably absent from LaBeouf's head is his gloriously iconic rattail, which captured our hearts earlier this summer.
For some, the rattail was a beautiful nightmare.
But the rattail gave Shia strength.
That rattail was a symbol of freedom, it was a symbol of courage, it was a symbol of hope. But alas...
It's gone.
No, Shia. No.
We can only hope that the rattail's absence was for something like a movie, or just to appease the olds who would never understand what a statement like that meant.
Thankfully we have photos to pay homage to the thing that once was, Shia's rattail. RIP rattail. You'll be sorely missed.
