Master of Supercuts
There have been a lot of super cuts popping up all over the internet, but a lot of people don’t know that they were ghost-edited by a guy named Ty Breckinridge. Breckinridge dropped out of the Art Institute of Des Moines before moving to Los Angeles to become a full-time supercutter, citing that “yawl bitches need culture like your mom’s dick needs some hash”. We shook our heads, not knowing what this meant, but we know that Breckinridge is operating on a higher artistic stratosphere than anything we can even hope to comprehend. We’re proud to be presenting the first in our ArtSmartArt series, with many more to come.

Embrace Life
This is a cartoon that won Adult Swim’s “Show Us Your Shorts” Contest in 2006. They gave entrants a bunch of criteria about how the theme should be about Embracing Life, so we wrote something about a tiki-totem giving a bunch of talking animals bad luck. And then we won. Utilizing this logic, I later took a dump on the computer at my SAT testing so I could get into Yale. (I had to settle for stupid Princeton.)
Bleep! By The Wait List
Here’s the thing about The Wait List. Our third Classy Troupe of the Month were spawned in the comedy locker rooms of UCLA. They were then gang-frenched into the world with a 2009 festival short called The Butterfly King. They have eleven members and can kill your comedy group in a brawl, then be funnier than them on stage. After being killed. They’re tight with Zac Efron. They have a full silo of sketches filmed and have won numerous film/improv competitions. They perform every Thursday night at The Improv Space at 8:45, and will do so until Werner Herzog joins the group. What the BLEEP are we talking about?
