Hilary Duff Goes On Real Tinder Dates In New Music Video

Her fifth album, Breathe In. Breathe Out., is out June 16.

While it's not exactly a secret that Hilary Duff recently joined the world of online dating, her true Tinder intentions were something of a mystery.

Was she really on the prowl? Inspired by friends? Pitching a reality show?

It turns out the pop star was actually filming the music video for her Tove Lo-penned single “Sparks.”

The clip mostly follows the newly-single singer as she goes on Tinder dates, only cutting to the song and a neon-colored dance sequence on occasion.

We learn a lot about Hil’s dating preferences — she loves a man who loves Sriracha! — but the video is pretty light on actual music, which is a shame because “Sparks” is a grade-A pop song.

Fortunately, the video wasn’t the only piece of music news Hilary dropped this morning — she also revealed her new album's title, cover, and release date.

Watch the “Sparks” video now to go behind-the-scenes of Hilary’s online-dating adventures.
