richardp21 4 months agoArmstrong simply said he was going to stop fighting the alligations. He made no confession and no proof was offered. He simply wanted out of the whole sordid thing. The legasy of doping in road racing is strong and even to the point where racers run on complete blood transfusions after a week of heavy stages, just to cut out lactic acid. Lance is a great man. The sport, the media, his bitter contemporaries and the majority of the fans are the rats here. shame on everyone. He is the most tested and scrutinised athlete in history, if he was doping he would have been caught. period

melindanasisem 4 months agoI am pretty removed from being a cyclist fan, and probably too young to care when he was at his height of stardom. After hearing so much about him lately, I found myself researching. My thoughts after this investigation, lol. I find it very strange that very powerful drugs taken for his cancer were acceptable to prevent death, yet people persecute him for taking drugs to enhance life. There is no way the drugs allowed him to win as much as he won without his own will to win, hard work, and determination to do so: just as the cancer drugs would not have worked without the same determination/will to heal. Another baffling thing— if all the cyclist during the time period were on drugs, why/how did he win 7 times with the same advantage as they had with the same type of drugs/transfusions? I think this guy did some incredible things in his life, and feel much more sorry for those that are persecuting him.

Everyone wants a cure for cancer at any cost. This man who is an idol beats multiple types of cancer and now people wanna say he’s a bad person? That man could have done almost anything and accomplish what he has and still deserve more respect and honor than probably every person that wants to shun him now.

Trebor 4 months agoHe walked out on his kid, beat the hell out of more than one motorist, ruined the lives people who threatened to expose him, gave himself cancer for using steroids. He did this all for himself and you have just fallen for his PR campaign.

Jessica D. 4 months agoI no longer wear mine, but I won’t destroy it. And not because I am defending Lance, but because my cousin was diagnosed with leukemia in 2003 and all of my family wore one to support him. It is a symbol of his survival to me, not Lance. Thanks though for doing this for Oprah and not the millions who stood up for you. Ass
