dontjudgefudge a year agoI’m a Sox fan, so naturally I’m inclined to cheer against any Yankee, but this is disappointing. I’ll never forget the ‘05 Sox home opener vs. the Yankees, the Sox were celebrating the ‘04 title and the crowd cheered Rivera when he was introduced to thank him for his role in ending Boston’s drought. He was a good sport, laughed and waved back to the crowd. Good guy, great pitcher. Years ago people said his career was over, hopefully they’re wrong again.
