According to Chris Matchovich of secondary ticket-sales tracking website TiqIQ, since last Tuesday the Knicks season average ticket price has risen 7.61% (from $235.50 to $253.41). Also as of last Saturday you could get a ticket for Wednesday night's Kings-Knicks game at Madison Square Garden for $29. Now the cheapest seat in the building will run you $79. That's an increase of 172.4% in less than three days.
