How depressingly sad. One of the most recognizable female athletes in the world for the world’s most popular sport, and most Americans have no fucking idea who she is (as evident by the comments here), even though she plays for our national team. Seriously guys? The fact that people are now referring to her as, “That girl on Dancing With The Stars” makes me want to shank someone. This woman is the LeBron James of female soccer right now. The least you can do is know who she is.

I’m sorry…I know I’m in the minority, but toned, muscular, athletic bodies are absolutely disgusting to look at (and this is aimed at the whole ESPN issue more than specifically Hope Solo’s photos here). They are at least as disgusting as morbidly obese bodies to me.
