College Basketball Star’s Injury And Subsequent Scream Will Haunt You

Nerlens Noel was one of the best players in the nation.

1. Last night, NBA super-prospect and Kentucky Wildcat Nerlens Noel went up to block a shot and came down in a lot of pain.

2. A Florida player went to help him…

3. But Noel fell to the ground.

4. And writhed in pain.

5. And Noel let out one of the most painful sounding screams, you’ll ever hear from an injured athlete.

7. And in an awesome display of team spirit, his teammates lifted him off the ground…

8. And when he couldn’t walk, they carried him…

9. Down the tunnel to medical help.

Noel apparently left the arena in a wheelchair, and though his X-Rays thankfully came back negative. We’re still waiting to hear on his MRI.

10. Here’s hoping we didn’t just lose one of the most exciting players in the country for the rest of the season.

I’m serious. Thoughts and prayers, Nerlens. Thoughts and prayers.

11. UPDATE: The diagnosis is not good.
