samk24 2 weeks agoThere is no girl out there that would lie about rape. There just isn’t. No one would want to put themselves through that. But there are thousands of men that would lie about raping someone and four thousand of their buddies are going to believe them.
This is something that even my most logical friends agree on. They truly believe there is a good number of women out there that lie about being raped. There just isn’t. One is a billion, and I’m begin generous. -

I have lived in a rural town in Ohio most of my life. As a young girl, one of the FIRST rules of life I learned was that you don’t get drunk with boys. In fact, its a risk just hanging out with boys, especially in an unsupervised environment. I’m NOT man bashing. But I accepted that rule and lived by it and survived high school unscathed. As an adult, I forgot that rule one night.. and I was raped… And I took the responsibility, because I was an ADULT. I feel for this girl, what those boys did was wrong. But I blame her mother for not teaching her that young, drunk boys in a group are dangerous. It’s common knowledge where I’m from. If you don’t want raped you don’t party with potential rapists.

I’m sorry but you have been very damaged and brainwashed by your upbringing. It was NOT your fault you were raped. It is NEVER the victim’s fault. It is ALWAYS ALWAYS the rapist’s fault. It is clear you have no sense of gender equality or women’s rights. A women should be able to go to a party and drink alcohol just like men do without fear of being raped. Rape is not a ‘just punishment’ for hanging out with boys. And men are not monsters who have no control over themselves or their urges. I’m sorry you have been so poorly educated about your rights, and your right to not be raped. Please remember is it NOT your fault you were raped and if your mother tells you otherwise you need to put her straight.

This is why most rape cases are never reported, instead of being disgusted at the rapist, the victim gets put under a microscope!! Savanna 2 months agoWhy are so many people stuck on the underage drinking? Yeah it’s illegal and I get that. However if she were legal drinking age this would still be rape. What these boys did was wrong no matter what her age or level of intoxication. And it seems to me that they only “realized what they did was wrong” after they were busted. They didn’t realize while it happened, it didn’t stop them from sending out the videos. That’s bullshit in my opinion they always knew it was wrong, RAPE IS ALWAYS WRONG. They just didn’t give a flying fuck until they got in trouble. And who cares about their promising futures? Didn’t they forfeit that by committing this crime? It’s not the victims fault, and she will have to go through enough psychological struggles without being blamed for her rape.

hannahr18 2 months agoFor all of you who are agreeing with the above pictures; She was drugged, carried from party to party unknowingly, and those boys were under the impression that was dead. There is a twelve minute video of them in YouTube talking about “how dead” she was. They thought they were raping a dead body. There are countless texts of those boys admitting what they had done. They have no excuse.

christinab28 2 months agoIf she was sober would these boys have raped her? If their parents were around would they act this way? I want to believe they would not. Maybe if we teach our children to act & respond as if someone that mattered to them was watching it might change? It’s scares me that the above comments did not feel this was wrong. What if it was their sister, mother or girlfriend? I know i must be asking too much.

Kayla J 2 months agoI think the people who make these comments aren’t trying to be assholes, even though that’s exactly how they come across. I think that the idea of rape as a horrible random act that can happen to anyone regardless of who they are or what they have done is just too scary for many people to comprehend. Men who side with the rapists may be thinking “Those guys were like me and my friends. We don’t actually rape and hurt girls, so they couldn’t either, the girl must be asking for it”. Women who blame the victim might feel something along the lines of “That could never happen to me, she must have done something to deserve it”. Even victims who start to blame themselves by saying that they could have done more to stop it are trying to put the control back in their own hands. It speaks a lot about what we think of the actual act of rape, and everyone has a way to make it seem less random than it is.
