Although Michigan is still one of 13 states in the U.S. where same-sex marriage is banned, nearly a hundred small businesses and their employees came out to the Ultimate LGBT Wedding Expo in Southfield this week to show their support.
BuzzFeed Life asked a few of them why they and their businesses support marriage equality, and this is what they said:
