"Game Of Thrones" Casts A "Harry Potter" Alum As Sam's Brother

Freddie Stroma has landed the role of Samwell's brother in the sixth season of HBO's drama.

Hot off his role on Lifetime's Unreal, BuzzFeed News has confirmed that Freddie Stroma will be playing Samwell Tarly's (John Bradley) brother, Dickon Tarly, in the upcoming sixth season of HBO's Game of Thrones.

Stroma played Adam Cromwell, the morally questionable bachelor on Lifetime's acclaimed drama, and Cormac McLaggen in the Harry Potter films.

In George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire novels, readers have only heard about Sam's brother, Dickon. Their father, Lord Randyll Tarly, deemed Sam unworthy to be his direct heir, choosing the younger Dickon instead and sending Sam to the Wall.

And given the events in the Season 5 finale, it looks like things might go from bad to worse for the Eeyore of Westeros.
