THE WACKERS - Long Lost 4th Album Now Available
On July 24th the original WACKERS (minus the late Mike Stull) will grace the stage of Cherry Cola's in Toronto for a one-off gig to celebrate their 40th anniversary. I have convinced them to release the long lost WACK AND ROLL album as a limited edition CDR for fans so that they might be able to raise the funds to do further projects including a full-commercial release of this album with liner notes. Anyone purchasing now will get the commercial release for FREE once it becomes available. They're also offering a T-shirt and poster (designs to be determined) that will be shipped the week after the reunion. All specifics and ordering details are available here: http://www.bullseyecanada.com/wackers_all.html Jaimie Vernon, President, Bullseye Records of Canada, Inc.

New Canadian Music Encyclopedia Coming
From the webpages of www.canoe.ca comes the internet website that's now a book. Over 13 years in the making, The Canadian Pop Music Encyclopedia was conceived by Canadian music biographer Jaimie Vernon through the original Toronto Sun website in September 1998. And since it's launch, Canadian music fans have demanded the resource in book form. Undestandably, a fragile publishing industry in Canada has been unwilling to take on such a massive project. But, finally, the print version of the Encyclopedia will see the light of day on July 1st, 2010 exclusively through Bullseye Records of Canada as an on-demand 200 page 8 x 10" formatted book containing discographies and biographies for more than 1,000 of Canada's most celebrated major label and independent music acts spanning 60 years of Canadian popular music with a focus on Pop, Rock, Folk and Singer-songwriter genres. The book will also feature exclusive and previously unseen photographs, artist quotes and anecdotes, and music links for tracking down your favourite Canadian music online.
