You're beautiful and you know it, so why not live in Los Angeles where everyone else is beautiful? When your looks start to fade you can just run a fashion company — you don't have any practical skills, but you've slept with half the town, so you're more than qualified to negotiate business deals.

You are constantly getting sick, shot, or taken hostage, so you tend to spend a lot of time in the hospital. It's not particularly safer, since that's probably where all the bad things in your life have happened to you, but you like the thrill of living in a town where someone could build a machine to turn the entire town to ice at a moment's notice.
