There's A Billboard Made Of Beehives And It's Producing Honey

Sweet billboard, bro.

Do you like honey?

Of course you do.

Because EVERYONE loves honey.

Well, what if we said that the world was about to get a lot more honey?

And that the honey would come from —wait for it... — an actual billboard?

The billboard (located in St. Cloud, FL) took 15 people 240 hours to build.

It's made from 10 actual beehives.

Each hive holds up to 70,000 bees, which means there are about 700,000 bees in the trap.

All those bees are busy making ACTUAL HONEY. #SquadGoals

There was a beekeeper on site to get the honey from the billboard.

Brent extracted the honey, proving that not all heroes wear capes.

"Extracted" means he, like, touched bees!

After much work, Brent transformed the syrup from murky gray stuff into pristine, perfect honey.

And then Honey Nut Cheerios made cereal with it.

Thus concludes the most delicious billboard of 2015.

Thank you to all the bees who made this possible.
