This dramatic fortress overlooking the city is just asking for a bad guy to move in. Undoubtedly, it will be a short stay — considering Bond will be over shortly to kick some serious bad guy ass — but an enjoyable stay nonetheless.

A 17th century castle atop an island? Could this be more perfect for a Bond villain's lair? No, it could not.

Yes, this is hardly the most inconspicuous of secret lairs. But that's the point – concealed within one of London's busiest stations, a dastardly villain could very easily plot their evil master plan, all the while being extremely well connected to get around the capital and travel internationally. Genius, really.

If this late-19th century sea fort is good enough to have protected Portsmouth's naval port, then it is good enough to be an evil villain's hideaway. Bad guys far and wide will definitely be dropping offers on this prime real estate, guaranteed.

Moody 16th century fort overlooking the North Sea, with treacherous waves, swirling storm clouds, and a track record of defending against Viking attacks? Sounds perfect.

Loch Ness is undoubtedly the best location for an underwater lair. It is the largest lake by sheer volume on the British Isles AND has an excellent defense system in the form of its very own monster.

This former royal residence is so darn beautiful, something shady MUST be afoot within its gorgeous Indo-Gothic walls.

Constructing an evil billionaire's lair inside a mountain is really a much better option than a volcano. Less risk of an eruption and thus lava getting into the nooks and crannies of your nuclear weapon.
