My old roommate used to have these parties that would go on well into the early morning… on weekdays, nights I needed to sleep, etc… When I was ready for them to end I’d put on In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins.

the biggest party killer is country music. the only exception ever is johnny cash. he will never kill a party. otherwise, i find it’s best to keep a nice mixture of new and classic songs of various genres (country excluded). no one wants to go to a party stuck in the 80’s or 90’s unless it’s a theme party. discover new music or be a dinosaur. this should apply to all ages. where is the curiosity, people?
