How odd, because THIS exactly crosses my mind as a European when I read over and over and over, again people getting shot in this country. And all what people worry about is ” I HAVE the right to own a gun”!! Who cares about the rights of all those people getting hurt or killed. There is something seriously wrong with this society!I use to feel sad when reading someone got killed by guns, but meanwhile, you all want your beloved guns, this is your price you pay.

To me freedom of speech stops as soon as you offend others for no reasons or glorify violence. In the US people are so obsessed with their “idea” of freedom of speech that many lost sight what freedom of speech is really all about. Sometimes yelling out crap and insanity doesn’t represent true freedom of speech. At times it is ok to hold back and not making a fool out of yourself.

Living here in Los Angeles I read way too often how brutal and unjustified force is done by the police here. Sorry, there is no excuse for this. If people are ok with this then, to me this is a very sad statement.

So, just because someone didn’t pay for a lousy $ 11.- movie ticket and that person seem to be mentally handicapped, justifies to force him to the ground to handcuff him? And this is normal here? I totally agree with you. All this slaughtering and how horribly those animals are kept is nicely hidden away from the consumer.

Why is that? At least they have the guts to address this. Haven’t seen much like this in the US when it comes to their slavery past, killing native americans and how they treated blacks in the past and their wars in other countries.
