Make sure your tires are filled with air.

Confirm that none of your friends have consumed tacos within the past 24 hours.

Bring cell phone chargers and a portable battery pack.

Skim through your buddy's playlist, and remove any songs by that artist that you hate. (You know the one we're talking about.)

Bring jumper cables and a car jack.
6.
Make sure you're sitting in the front seat.
7.
Check the weather and your fluid levels before heading out.

Don't invite Chris... on account of how much he loves tacos (see #2).
9.
Buy a map, or bring a GPS in case you get lost.
10.
Check under the car for monsters.
11.
Set your seat to the most comfortable distance, and adjust your mirrors.
12.
And finally, remember where you parked the car.
