At the 2015 Academy Awards, Terrence Howard introduced two Best Picture nominees: Whiplash and The Imitation Game.
But he had some trouble with his lines.
And there was no denying he screwed up.
A week later, he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and fessed up.
Then, he explained what happened: He was joking at rehearsals with his wife, Mira Pak, about everyone using the teleprompter, so he was determined to avoid using it.
But once he got up on stage, he was a bit starstruck.
And it was nearly impossible to get back on track.
Sadly, things just kept getting worse.
