"Girl Meets World" Will Finally Make Its Debut In June

    The highly anticipated Disney Channel original series premieres on Friday, June 27.

    Girl Meets World, the Boy Meets World spin-off, finally has a premiere date!

    A Disney Channel rep confirmed to BuzzFeed the series will make its debut on Disney Channel on Friday, June 27, at 9:45 p.m. after the launch of the latest Disney Channel original movie Zapped! After a week-long hiatus, Girl Meets World will settle into its usual time slot on July 11 on Fridays at 8:30 p.m., with cast members hosting the event.

    Girl Meets World will focus on Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) Matthews, their two children Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Auggie (August Maturo), and Riley's best friend, Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). The show is set over a decade after Boy Meets World left off and follows the two girls as they try to navigate New York City and having Cory as a teacher.

    The show will bring back many of the original Boy Meets World stars.
