Taylor Swift's younger brother and only sibling, Austin, 22, is a student at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
Austin, a Film, Television and Theatre major, tweeted last week that he would be acting in the department's performance of Six Characters in Search of an Author.

Because she is an excellent sister, Taylor surprised student theatergoers on Sunday by showing up at the play's final performance with her mother.

Even though she was nominated for two MTV EMAs, she skipped the awards show in Scotland to see Austin onstage.
After the show, Taylor went backstage and posed for pictures with the cast and crew.
And not just group pictures!
It looks like everybody had a good time.

Of course, word immediately got out that there was a celebrity on campus, so by the time Taylor and her mother left the theatre, there was a crowd waiting for them.
She looked a little bit surprised...
