This Baby Rockhopper Penguin Is The Cutest

Just a little baby bundle of feathers!

"Hello World!" Meet the newest addition to the Shedd Aquarium family, this little rockhopper penguin who hatched on June 9, 2015.

This handful of joy, also known as #23 for now, was welcomed to this world by parents Edward and Annie.

Weighing only 200 grams, #23 won't be teeny for long. Penguins grow very quickly and Baby Rockhopper will be full grown in two to three months!

Rockhopper penguins don't show any observable differences between sexes, so our friends at Shedd Aquarium will have to wait a year to find out if their chick is a boy or girl.

Baby Rockhopper gets routine feedings and check-ups daily, to ensure the little buddy is living its best life!

Rockhopper penguins are listed as vulnerable to becoming endangered, so Baby Rockhopper plans on being an adorable ambassador for the species.

Ambassador is an easy job when you're cute -- this chick already knows how to work that camera!

Being a conservation superhero and professional cutie are all in a day's work for Baby Rockhopper!

To see more cuteness, check out this video or hop on over to the Shedd Aquarium to give Baby Rockhopper a visit!
