Davine S. 9 months agoI bet there’s a number of people - probably still full after their Chick-fil-A meals, today - who are more disturbed by the same-sex kissing than by a princess shooting a huge assault rifle with her anus. *squints* OHHHHHH it’s not an anus rifle. It’s a prosthetic LEG assault rifle. With two barrels and a bayonet. Okay. My comment still stands, though.

Mock Turtle 9 months agoOn the one hand, I don’t like this because it f*cks with continuity, individual universes and established character personalities and relationships (or lack thereof). I’m a purist like that. On the other hand, I wish Disney would do a fairy tale musical with either gay princes or lesbian princesses. They’d have to make sure it wasn’t too cliché and stereotypical, but it could be done. Of course, it took some seventy years after Snow White to get a black princess (Tiana) due to racism, so I’d imagine it’ll be another 70 until Disney would be willing to do a lesbian princess/gay prince due to homophobia. Also, that Evil Queen snorting coke is badass. I want that in my house.
