According to YouTuber WillowFox, this confused baby crow wouldn’t stop following him. He even tried to fake the crow out by moving to the other side of the house while it was distracted eating ants right before filming this. You can see the baby is looking for him.
To this day whenever WillowFox goes home, the crow is still in the area and still friendly. Crows have long memories and can live for 30 years so it may be a lifetime bond.

syndibird 9 months ago@Sharkfighter. Snopes.com reports your belief is False and “hogwash.” FYI birds will NOT abandon a baby or a nest if it’s handled by humans. That is a MYTH that needs to go away. If a baby bird is found the best thing you can do for it’s survival is find the nest it fell out of and put it back. Or fashion one in a high place. The parents will hear it and come back for it.

justineh4 9 months agoOnce the other crows smell human on the crow they won’t take him back or embrace him. Unfortunately depending on how young he is and if he can fly yet he may not survive unless you feed him and help him until he can fly. I learned that after a crow fell out of his nest and was abandoned the vet told me I’d have to feed him until he could fly. :( poor crow

I had a crow once, his name was Buddy, pretty cool/random pet but they don’t thrive well in a house so we took him to an animal rescue and they took proper care of him so he could be let back into the wild. My mom taught him to say Hello, coolest thing ever!
