Um…some of these people aren't really assholes:  1. How the hell does he know if Anderson Cooper is gay or not? Besides even if he is, he still has the right to stay in the closet if he wants to. And, him coming might give courage to some gay teenagers. And, it might not. So, gay teens committing suicide is not his fault. Same for Queen Latifah, who did come of the closet.  2. Kate Middleton met Prince William in college. They fell in love and got married. That does not make her an asshole. It just makes her lucky. 3. Taylor Lautner is an actor. He gets paid to do a job. And if that job involves just taking off his shirt and getting a lot of money in return, then I say more power to him.  4. There are lots of people who could afford to get a sex change operation and did so. Chaz Bono is just one of them. That doesn't make him an asshole. 5. Yes, a lot of these people are paid lots of money to do little. But, let's be honest, if most could get paid half a million dollars to wear meat and just take off your shirt; then they would! That doesn't make them assholes.

Queen Latifah came out some time ago. Kate Middleton is not an asshole for marrying her boyfriend. Chaz Bono's not an asshole for becoming the person he wanted to be. And Anderson Cooper has the right to keep his private life private. But I agree with the rest.

But… Anderson Cooper so often puts bullying and related suicide issues at the center of his show, and has even done one or two specials on the subject. And Queen Latifah publicly came out earlier this year (if not earlier) in an interview - about as inconspicuously and nonchalant as Zachary Quinto recently did. Quinto's mention just got picked up more. And good for Chaz, and anyone else, if that's what they want.

This is just ridiculous and unnecessary and represents so many things that are wrong with this whole movement. Pretty sure a lot of the “asshole%” SUPPORT the Occupy movement.
