Produced in the late ‘80s by the National Safety Council, this PSA about Halloween safety featured everybody’s favorite feline (not really), Garfield, giving out some important safety tips about trick-or-treating.
While most of Garfield’s advice was sound, I think we can all agree that trick-or-treating in daylight is just plain WRONG:
- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Cuba later this summer for the opening of a U.S. embassy there.
- Nicholas Winton, who saved more than 650 Jewish children from the Holocaust, died at 106.
- The fire at a South Carolina black church late Tuesday night wasn't arson, according to a preliminary investigation.
