The Garfield Halloween PSA Is A Flashback To A Simpler Time

In the late ’80s and early ’90s, Garfield was there to remind you that trick-or-treating should be boring.

Produced in the late ‘80s by the National Safety Council, this PSA about Halloween safety featured everybody’s favorite feline (not really), Garfield, giving out some important safety tips about trick-or-treating.

While most of Garfield’s advice was sound, I think we can all agree that trick-or-treating in daylight is just plain WRONG:
