Here Are The Beauty Products The Stars Used To Get Their Flawless Oscar Looks

1. Reese Witherspoon looking anything but wild, unlike the character she played in her Oscar-nominated role.

Makeup artist Molly R. Stern wanted a fresh and neutral palette for Witherspoon. She used St. Tropez One Night Only Instant Glow Body Lotion ($18) on her body, then used RéVive Intensité Moisture Serum Extrême Complete Hydration ($365) on the face before sunscreen and Laura Mercier foundation ($48). She used a shade darker than usual to achieve a more bronzed appearance.

That eye look is courtesy of the Laura Mercier eyeshadow shades Noir and Coffee Ground ($24, each) and Clé de Peau Beauté Intensifying Cream Eyeliner No.103 ($60). The nude lip is Laura Mercier Paint Wash Liquid Lip Colour in Nude Rose ($28) and Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Peche ($27).

2. Best Acress nominee Marion Cotillard looking glowy and timeless.

Her makeup artist, Christophe Danchaud, prepped her skin with Baszicare's Lucem Smoothing Cream Intensive ($380), which acted similarly to a primer, smoothing and plumping the skin for ideal makeup application. Cotillard's base makeup is actually a combination of two Ilia Sheer Vivid Tinted Moisturizer shades (Bella Mare T2 and Hanelei T3, $42 each). To conceal, he mixed Baszicare's Lucem Smoothing Cream Intensive with Ilia's Vivid Concealer in Maca C2 ($30). That lip look is Ilia's Blossom Lady Tinted Conditioner ($26).

The hairstyling, courtest of Robert Vetica, was pretty much exclusively Bumble and bumble products: Bb. Prep ($22) to detangle, Bb. Thickening Full Form Mousse ($30) for volume, Bb. Gel ($26) to shape the look and hairspray to perfect and finish.

3. Kiera Knightly looked like a wood nymph last night, in the best way possible.

Her hair paired perfectly with that uber-romantic dress. It was primarily Fekkai products and the product of an excellent blow-out. Starting with their Blowout Primer ($20) her stylist Ben Skervin went through each section with a blow dryer, then used Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray ($20) and Beach Waves Tousling Spray ($20) for more texture.

4. Lady Gaga looking classic in NARS and Alaïa.

Her makeup artist, Sarah Tanno, explains the aim for the red carpet look was a classic red lip and clean, radiant skin.

She used NARS Dragon Girl Velvet Matte Lip Pencil ($26). The foundation is NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation ($48) and the eyeshadow is the newly released Callisto Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow ($29).

5. Jennifer Hudson looking old school Hollywood.

Her skin looks amazing, right? Her artist, Shannon Pezzetta, spent a lot of time on prepping the skin with a mini facial — and with drugstore finds from the Olay Regenerist line — specifically the cream cleanser ($8), the Micro-Sculpting Serum ($24), and Micro Sculpting Cream ($24). Eyes by ToGoSpa ($12) were used to combat eye bags, the lips were exfoliated with Fresh Sugar Lip Polish ($22). After that, a mattifying primer by Make Up For Ever ($36) was used, right before a Lancome foundation ($45).

6. Kelly Osbourne's purple unicorn hair was a dream, as per usual.

Ryan Randall was on point for Kelly's purple coif — he pulled off this take on the french twist with a combination of PARLOR by Jeff Chastain's Moisturizing Sea Salt Spray ($24) and PARLOR by Jeff Chastain's Texturizing Finishing Spray ($28). And bobby pins. A lot of bobby pins.

7. Lupita looked like an actual goddess, but of course, when does she not?

Her makeup artist used exclusively Lancome, including products that haven't been launched yet(!); the Lancome Miracle Cushion Liquid Cushion Compact, to be precise. Besides that, everything else is readily available: Le Corrector Pro Concealer Kit ($38), Blush Subtil Shimmer in Petite Pomegranate ($30), Le Duo Stick in Suede ($36). That aqua eye look is Aquatique Waterproof Eyecolor Base ($26) and a combination of Artliner in Noir ($30), Le Stylo Waterproof Eyeliner ($27), Color Design 5-Pan Eyeshadow Palette in Gris Fumee ($50) and Grandiose mascara ($32). The lipstick is a combination of Le Lipstique Lip Coloring Stick ($25) and L'ABsolu Rouge Lipcolor in Aubergine Violet ($30)

It's the Oscars — of course someone is going to be using the cult classic (and super expensive at $295) Crème de la Mer to prep their skin for the camera. Besides that and the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (at $62), it was mostly drugstore Maybelline products. Concealer? Maybelline. Blush? Maybelline. Highlighter? Maybelline. Eyeshadow? Yep. Mascara and lipstick, too. Her makeup artist, Mary Phillips, managed to hit a memorable balance between big budget glamour and low-cost luxury.

9. The #1 stunner of the night: Margot Robbie.

It was all Hourglass Cosmetics, the brand that everyone can't stop talking about. (I mean, seriously, so beautiful.) That lipstick is Hourglass Panoramic Long Wear Lip Liner in Raven ($28) and Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Raven ($28), her contour is Ambient Lighting Powder in Radiant Light ($45), and that eye look is courtesy of 1.5MM Mechanical Gel Eyeliner ($45) and Film Noir Mascara ($28).
