I’m guessing that whoever made this ad thinks that fat and ugly are one in the same. There are plenty of ugly skinny people and plenty of pretty fat people. But in the mind of the person who made this ad fat = ugly, which is not true, because you’re right, that girl isn’t ugly at all..

Aldi stores are all over the Midwest/Chicagoland area. Not sure how far out into the Midwest they go. But the Aldi is my closest grocery store in my neighborhood here in Chicago. Closer than the Jewels, even. The food is surprisingly good (I say this as a person who would not go near the place until after I met my husband, bless his cheap heart).

I miss the beer cart we got every Thursday and Friday afternoon at my old agency. I think you forgot to add that all the young admins are aspiring account execs or copywriters.

My husband (who was then just my boyfriend) did this when we moved in together. I had all of my stuff packed and we got my stuff in the truck in record time. His stuff.. not so much. I was so embarassed that all his friends had to pack his stuff up for him. They ended up putting a lot of stuff in garbage bags and tossing it into the truck.

The sad thing is that this broad is a size 10. But a plus size model. Seems like it makes more sense to have to model normal sized clothes since she is a normal size girl. I want a model who is at least a 14W modeling plus size clothes.
