It was a day some have been waiting for their entire lives.

Not only was it a day for joyful celebration...

...it was also a stark reminder of how far we've come...

...how hard we've fought...

...and how much has been sacrificed.

We were reminded that minds can be changed...

That our country can still be great.

And that the only thing a family needs is love.

Because love is supreme.
