How Spain Is Still Winning The World Cup 2014

After the round of 16, Spain is still the favorite to win. Plus abs.

Let's be real here, after a sad elimination from the Group Stage, Spain has made an amazing comeback in the round of 16. Let's take a look at how crazy well they played.

    Brazil vs. Chile

The first game of the round of 32 went to the penalty shoot-out. Brazil and Chile both scored a goal each. Brazil, after a long match, won 3-2 in penalties. A tight game, that was...

Almost as tight as Sergio Ramos's abs

    Nicely played, Spain. Nicely played.

    Spain 1, Brazil 0, Chile 0

    Colombia vs. Uruguay

Uruguay had to play without their star player, the cannibal, I-swear-I-did-not-bite-him, Luis Suarez. Colombia's sweetheart, and up and coming James Rodriguez scored one goal in each half. Colombia won 2-0. They might have found their way to the Quarterfinals for the first time ever, but this guy found his way into everybody's heart.

    Torres scores.

    France vs. Nigeria

This match was really close until the very end. At the 79', Paul Progba scored the first goal of the match for France, and Joseph Yobo follows at the 92nd. The game was so close no one could catch their breath, but Casillas never fails to take everybody's breath away...

    Germany vs. Algeria

Germany is one of the favorites to win, and honestly, everyone thought Algeria was lucky to be in this round. Algeria put up a good fight, taking Germany to extra time, and lost gallantly to Germany 2-1. This game might have been close, but there's no one else I'd want to get close to other than this guy...

    Netherlands vs. Mexico

Was it Netherlands vs. Mexico, or McSteamies vs. McDreamies? This was one of the tougher matches of this round, and anything could've happened. The score was 1-1, until Klaas Jan Huntelaar, a substitute, netted the winning during stoppage time. Was that steamy or what?

    Talk about steamy...

    Costa Rica vs. Greece

Man, what is with these penalties in this World Cup? Costa Rica was in the lead, until guy with a really long name (Sokratis Papastathopoulos) netted an equalizer. Costa Rica finally won in penalties. Are penalties even fair? I don't know, but you know what's fair?

    Him.

    Argentina vs. Switzerland

This game was 124 minutes long, but it really started at the 118th minute when Di Maria scored a beautiful goal from an clever assist by Lionel Messi. The best has yet to come. When Swiss player Blerim Džemaili, a sub, barely missed his header, and tried to come back with a close range reflex, he miserably, but beautifully failed. Oh, and THIS is also beautiful...

    Belgium vs. USA

This game was in no way predictable. USA, after their escape from the group of death, had high hopes. And Belgium, finishing 1st in their group, had eyes watching. This match also went to extra time. Belgium netted two goals quite readily. Julian Green of the USA team came in as a late sub, and netted a magnificent goal...and

    The Result:

I'm not really good with math, but Spain is still definitely winning the World Cup 2014.

    ¡Vamos España!
